Color Assignment

With the first color assignment, we were told to paint with only black and white, and to paint to the music we were listening to. This was to help us gain control of our paintbrush. Next, we chose complementary colors to paint with, but we also had to mix the colors with white or black to create more colors. We also needed to choose a shape to paint with, so I chose triangles because they always look fun when they are layered or overlapped with each other. By learning how to mix colors, it taught me how many colors I really can make with only a few hues on my palate.
