Creating a rhythm sculpture was
exciting. To create a rhythm pattern, it needed to repeat colors, shapes, lines
or textures to create movement in the art piece. It was interesting in class to
clap out the rhythm to our own sculpture. In my art piece, I had three
different rhythms layered on top of each other. I made sure that each rhythm
had a different direction, and I kept with an alternating triangle and square
theme. By having alternate patterns, I believe that it makes the art piece more
interesting to look at because it is easy to see where I have created rhythm
and beat in the art piece.
